Mini Teddy Panda Koala Progress

The youngest U.S president to be in office was Theodore Roosevelt at age 42.

I stared at the screen for the briefest of pause.

By choosing so little photos, it seemed to paint only a small inkling of a much larger picture. It just didn't seem to do justice to that beautiful day.

So much of our memories are captured in those photographs. But because we didn't choose them, they would be lost forever, and with them, a small portion of our happiness.

Those photographs are precious to us. We might not view them again in future, but they remind me of clear, beautiful days in Taiwan and Singapore, when happiness and smiles filled the air and nothing could go wrong.

9 July: Selection of Bridal Photos

A true test of our discipline in selecting what we want from the overseas and local photoshoots...quite curious about how our photos turned out...=)

Franklin Roosevelt was related to 5 U.S. Presidents by blood and 6 by marriage.

And so, it seems that a lot has transpired since the last update.

Perhaps the most important thing, is that we did our photo shoot both in Taiwan and over here. It was tiring, but fun. I nearly killed myself when i lifted her up, on the photographer's instructions for the pose. :p

We have also gotten our new 'home' ready. The new wardrobes in my room are finished, so we can stay together after we're married. She's slowly moving her stuff over too. We've also gotten a new table, so that we can use our computers side-by-side.

I dug out a very old, unused and big scented candle while packing my old wardrobe. I've used that, together with a round glass plate and some clear plastic crystals, to create a decoration set for the bathroom. It gives off quite a nice effect and atmosphere when lit too. Somehow, i get a deep sense of satisfaction and happiness as we settle into our new 'home'. She says it's the nestling feeling. *shrugs* Perhaps so.

We've also held the first meeting with the 'brothers' and 'sisters'. It was an informal one held at my place after having dinner together. There are five people in total, for each side. Only three on each side could make it though. There were quite a lot of suggestions and points raised, which we discussed and decided. The next meeting will be held after we've done up the itinerary for the actual day. I'll make sure everyone is available and turns up for that.

We're also in the midst of confirming our videographer for the actual day, as well as signing of the full contract with the hotel.

All in all, the wedding preparations are moving faster now. Let's hope we are able to cover everything, so that the actual day will go smoothly. :)
